The Duchess of Cambridge's cousin Katrina Darling has been stripping off for celebrities with a sexy burlesque performance which saw her flaunt her own crown jewels.

She was a guest at the Life Ball in Austria, where she left very, very little to the imagination of the crowd, which included former US President Bill Clinton, Elton John and his husband David Furnish.

The heavily-tattooed burlesque artist, 23, used delicately-placed crowns to spare the worst of her blushes and also showed off some rather garish body art.

I say! She is a distant cousin of Kate Middleton and once appeared in Playboy magazine

Miss Darling, from Sunderland, only found out she was related to Kate in 2011 but has been quick to make the most of her new found Royal connections.

Her grandmother is sister to the duchess’s great grandfather Thomas Harrison.

The former employee of Barclays bank moved her act to New York after discovering she's the Duchess of Cambridge's second cousin once removed.

Darling has previously drawn attention to her Royal link by doing a burlesque song and dance routine to God Save the Queen during the monarch's diamond jubilee.

She also appears on the cover of Playboy magazine where she was billed as a 'Royal beauty' and 'Britain's new burlesque Queen'.

It is the 21st anniversary of the Life Ball, which raises money for HIV and AIDS charities.

Not so long ago she was wiggling her way around the clubs of Sunderland as an unknown burlesque dancer.

Then, in a dramatic twist of fate, in 2011 Katrina Darling discovered she was a distant cousin of one of the most famous women in the world: the Duchess of Cambridge.

Since her discovery, the stripper has pocketed herself six-figure sums posing for a variety of raunchy magazines - including Playboy - and performing her risque burlesque act across the globe.

Now, her latest magazine shoot, which shows her posing in barely there underwear, proves that she may be related to the future Queen of England - but her behaviour couldn't be further apart.

Kate's racy 22-year-old relative has shaken off the shackles of regal decorum in her scantily clad shoot for Loaded magazine.

Miss Darling, who was revealed ahead of the Royal Wedding to be Kate's second cousin, once removed, poses naked with peroxide blonde hair for the new issue of men's magazine Loaded.

And the stripper even lets rip at Kate's new family in a sensational interview.

Speaking about her cousin's father-in-law, the outspoken bombshell said: 'I think Prince Charles has done a lot of good for people. It’s his prerogative who he dates.

'Some men are like that. you can’t polish a turd.'

And she didn't stop at Prince Charles.

Miss Darling also added that she isn't attracted to loveable ginger Prince Harry and wouldn't want to see his 'tackle,' as she ever so gracefully puts it.

But if there is one person the tattooed former Barclays bank employee has some sympathy for her cousin Kate, particularly following the publication of her private holiday photographs.

She told the magazine: 'She was on private land and comfortable being in her own skin.

'I don't think she should be scrutinised for being comfortable in her own skin.'

Katrina, who hails from the North East, certainly has no hang-ups of her own in that regard.

She explains that she has always been comfortable with her own body - something that led her to learning the art of burlesque.

Indeed, so comfortable was she that she even performed topless at the tender age of 18 in front of her family.

'I don't feel undressed when I'm not wearing clothes. I feel very comfortable,' she added.

Miss Darling, who has never made any attempt to contact the Middletons, previously insisted that she had been a burlesque dancer for years and the recent success and attention is just a happy coincidence.

Posing seductively in suspenders and black lingerie, this is Kate Middleton's cousin, Katrina Darling, on the front cover of Playboy magazine.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that the dancer was paid a six-figure sum to strip off for the adult publication. And now we can reveal the magazine are keen to emphasis Katrina's royal connection on their September magazine cover.

While Katrina has never met Kate, she's called a 'royal beauty' and 'Britain's new burlesque queen' on the front page.

The 22-year-old's hair falls around her shoulders in a 'Chelsea blow-dry' style for the cover picture so her long brown locks look similar to the Duchess' famous curls. Her smokey eye make-up is also reminiscent of Kate - who often wears dark eyeliner.

The provocative performer, who is originally from Sunderland, appears in an eight page spread in the magazine, including striking a sultry pose as she lies topless on a sheepskin rug.

Miss Darling gained notoriety before last year’s Royal Wedding after her links to Kate were revealed.

The pair are second cousins, once removed, with Miss Darling’s grandmother being sister to the duchess’s great grandfather Thomas Harrison.

Miss Darling, who has never made any attempt to contact the Middletons, insisted that she had been a burlesque dancer for years and the recent success and attention is just a happy coincidence.

But that didn't stop her choreographing a burlesque routine to mark the Jubilee, titled God Save the Queen - which she performed earlier this year at Whiskey Mist nightclub.

At the start of the act, Miss Darling donned a figure hugging red corset teamed with a union jack skirt and small crown perched on her head. But as the anthem got going she stripped off completely, revealing bright red nipple tassels and a thong.

Until earlier this year, the dancer spent her days as a banker at Barclays, where she never hid her late night escapades.

She claimed the team who worked alongside her in the private wealth management division treated her hobby as a source of amusement.

Speaking in March, she said: 'Everybody is really supportive. They think it's a bit of fun.'

The dancer has since decided to take her act to New York to cash in on her newfound fame and the royal connection.

Katrina Darling, the much-talked-about racy burlesque dancer who just happens to be second cousin once removed to the Middleton sisters, has officially arrived on the New York nightlife scene.

Last night the 21-year-old opened her 'God Save the Queen' act in the basement of a Soho nightclub wearing a red sequined dress, gold elbow-length gloves and a tiny crown.

But the playful headpiece perching just off-centre atop her head was the only thing remaining at the end of the show, save for a pair of royal pasties.

'I take my clothes off,' she explained to the New York Post in the run up to her US debut, 'but I don’t give away anything that should be kept for someone else.'

The dark-haired buxom beauty, kicked off the set at WiP with a Union Jack tied around her waist and the kind of cheeky glint in her eye you'd expect from someone who labels herself 'the royal family's closest brush with soft porn'.

During the course of the night she stripped down to a red and gold bra and knickers with fur trim reminiscent of the coronation cloak the Queen wore in 1953 though clearly, a somewhat less modest re-imagination.

In a tantalising striptease the daring dancer disrobed further until the only things covering her were a pair of well placed red stickers. And of course, the crown.

Miss Darling, who makes her trade by day as a banker at Barclay's in London is not shy about her late night escapades and claims the team who work alongside her in the private wealth management division of the bank consider her second job a riot.

'Everybody is really supportive. The English know how to laugh at themselves a bit more,' she explained ahead of the show last night.

As for her cousins, though God Save the Queen certainly makes for a handy hook in America where Kate Middleton and the Royals are adored, the provocative performer has never met them.

In fact, explains promoter Lyle Derek of the club Work in Progress, she didn't even know she was related to them before Kate and Prince William were engaged.

He told Metro World News: 'We invited her because first of all she’s gorgeous. We feel that she’s such a true punk, we’re looking to get more into burlesque. It wasn’t just the angle of her being related to Kate Middleton.'

And backing up Miss Darling's story added: 'Honestly… she found out about Kate Middleton from the press. She does not care; she just does her burlesque thing. She’s having fun, and the (relationship) is kind of a cute little after thought to her.'
